Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.
Here’s a conversation that took place during family devotionals a few evenings ago (names concealed to protect the innocent…):
Dad: ‘Can a little baby love Jesus?’
Child: ‘Yes!’
D: ‘How?’
C: ‘In her own little way.’
D: ‘Oh, OK. What about Daddy – does Daddy love Jesus?’
C: ‘Yes!’
D: ‘How?’
C: ‘In his own little way.’
