In the next session of the Guided Reading Course we turn to the doctrine of Scripture, focusing particularly on Calvin, Institutes, I.vii-x. Before you begin reading, here are some questions to think about:
1. Why do you believe that Scripture is God’s authoritative word?
2. Why do you believe that the 66 books of the Bible are exactly what ought to be there – no more and no less?
The more honest you can be, the better.
