    Email This Post

Factionalism is trinitarian heresy, implicitly undermining the unity of the divine persons which provides the pattern for the unity of the church.

Factionalism is christological heresy, cutting off bits of the body of Christ.

Factionalism is soteriological heresy, treating as outsiders those whom Christ has welcomed and for whom he shed his blood.

Factionalism is ecclesiological heresy, treating a part of the church as the whole and thereby despising the bits that fall outside our man-made boundaries.

Factionalism is epistemological heresy, acting as if we know better than God who belongs and who does not.

Factionalism is eschatological heresy, ignoring the promised future glory of all those who are chosen in Christ.
