If you’re a preacher (or if you’re ever likely to be), then you could do worse than listen to this lecture by Robert Rayburn.
The one you want is entitled “Preaching as a Mystical Event.” Don’t be spooked by the title. It’s great stuff.
I’ve not listened to the other three lectures, but I bet they’re worth hearing too.
