How to record sermons - 8 March 2011 |
|
A friend asked recently what we use to record the sermons at Emmanuel. Just in case it’s useful to anyone else, we use a cheap £0.99 lapel mic from Ebay plugged into an Olympus WS-321M voice recorder. Total cost about £50.
Then we use three pieces of free software: the Switch Sound File Convertor to convert from the .wav format to .mp3, Audacity with the MP3 plug-in to edit and produce the MP3 files, and Filezilla to upload the files to the web server. Google them and you’ll find them without trouble.
