Colouring for kids - 20 May 2011 |
|
The children at Emmanuel remain in church throughout the service. One of the things we do to help them participate is to provide question sheets, pictures to colour and other activities. These are especially useful during the sermon, and it also makes it easier for the preacher to interact with the children – for example, by asking them questions that are included on their sheets and so on.
We get the colouring pictures (though not the questions) from the Calvary Chapel Children’s Ministry. All their resources are online, and they include literally hundreds of high-quality pictures illustrating scenes from Genesis to Revelation.
OT pictures here; NT pictures here.
Best of all, it’s all completely free, and the good folks at CCCM are determined that it will remain so. Here’s what they have to say about copyright: “Anyone is free to reproduce this material and distribute it, but it may not be sold under any circumstances whatsoever.”
Fabulous.
