Venue: The Welsh Chapel, Cockfosters (click for directions)
SpeakerOur speaker this year is Douglas Wilson, Pastor of Christ Church in Moscow, Idaho and a Senior Fellow at New St Andrews College. A well-known blogger, author and speaker, he is particularly renowned for his books on marriage and family life, which include For a Glory and a Covering, Future Men and Standing on the Promises. Douglas previously taught at Logos School in Moscow, and has written widely on the subject of education. He recently went head-to-head with renowned atheist Christopher Hitchens in a series of debates which featured in the movie Collision and the book Is Christianity Good for the World? He and his wife Nancy have three children and an increasingly large flock of grandchildren. We’re delighted that Nancy will be joining Douglas at the Conference, and will lead a seminar for women. |
